ACCEPTABLE CARBON MONOXIDE LEVELS

As with various other gases, the atmospheric concentration of C O  is measured in parts per million
( abbreviated as ppm ) and that's one important fact that has to be taken into consideration when determinig what is the safe limit !
For an adult, CARBON MONOXIDE exposure beyond 135 ppm  continuously for a period of  8 hours can turn out to be toxic and symptoms of poisoning can become obvious in the form of headache and fatigue.
Sources of C O exist in plenty, and quite a few of these..Cooking stoves ,Chimneys,Smoking and at the same time when you breathe polluted  air coming from vehicular exhaust in a relatively high concentration.
After accumulating in the blood stream, C O combines with the red blood cells and brakes the OXYGEN carrying capacity and drops the hemoglobin percentage .... silently breaking down our entire nervous system which may eventually death of the individual.
HAZARDOUS EFFECTS OF POISONING RANGE FROM MILD HEADACHE TO DEATH.... DEPENDINGON THE SEVERITY OF POISONING.
CO IS A SILENT  KILLER.....BEWARE
